Date: Thursday, February 23, 2012

Time: 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm

Location: Clayton County International Park "The Beach"

Thursday, February 23, 2012, 12:15 - 1 P.M.

Join us with your brown bag lunch and learn about growing your own tomatoes.

Tomatoes are the most popular home-grown vegetable in the country. Remember how good that first juicy tomato sandwich of the year tastes? Whole books are written about growing tomatoes. You won't have to read all those books - just attend this program given by farmer Tom. Taught by Tom Bonnell, Clayton County Master Gardener.

These classes will be held at Clayton County International Park, "The Beach". Enter Park on Olympic Parkway from 2300 Hwy 138. Follow signs in park to VIP building (right at 2nd stop sign); enter VIP building through double doors facing the beach and go to 2nd floor via stairs or elevator.

REMEMBER: The classes are free, but please let us know you are coming by calling 770-473-5434, or email hortpa@uga.edu. This program is brought to you by the Clayton County Extension Office and Master Gardeners.
