October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Commissioner
Hambrick (District 2) has partnered with Secur'us House to help
bring about a greater awareness of this silent crime. A
proclamation was presented to the Secur'us House Board of Trustees
at the October 4th CCBOC Business Meeting and a Domestic Violence
Awareness conference will be held on Saturday, October 22 at the
Virginia Gray Recreation Center. The special guest moderator for
the conference is radio and television personality Ester Caspino
and speakers includes Clayton County Solicitor General Tasha
Mosley.
