Location: Several locations throughout the Clayton County.

Clayton County Board of Commissioners (CCBOC) has kicked off the
holiday season with a toy drive for underprivileged children (ages
6 months - 12 years old) residing in Clayton County. The BOC will
have drop off locations throughout the county for donations.
Thursday, December 16, 2010, is the last day that
the county will accept toy donations from the public.
Families that have documented a need for assistance through the
BOC will receive donated toys at the BOC Toy Drive Celebration on
Saturday, December 18, hosted by the city of
Riverdale at their new Town Center located at 7210 Church Street
from 9:00am - 1:00pm. As an added bonus, various
community partners will educate families on creating a healthier
lifestyle this holiday season. The BOC will offer health
screenings, healthy snacks, and fitness tips for children. Also, in
an effort to promote free family fun this holiday season, the BOC
will have a reading corner to encourage families to spend more
quality time together by turning off the TV and reading some
holiday classics.
