Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey), a penny-pinching, miserable man, who cares nothing for the people around him.  He begins his christmas holiday pessimistically with his usual routine of barking orders to his faithful assistant (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth).  But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet To Come take Scrooge on a life changing journey revealing truths from his past that he is reluctant to confront, he must open his heart and undo years of built up animosity before it's too late.
